9. The Dock Connector Port

The dock connector is the one input/output port on your iPad. It is where you plug in the USB cord to charge it or sync it to iTunes on your computer (if that is the route you are going...). It is also where you would plug in any of the adaptor accessories that are available for the iPad:

VGA Adaptor (to connect it to your projector via a VGA cable)
USB Connector (what you use to charge it either with the adaptor or a computer)
HDMI Adaptor (to connect to an HDMI cable)
